BAHAWALPUR: Hamdard Laboratories and Hamdard Matabs are offering paid internships to the Bachelor of Eastern Medicines and Surgery graduates of the University College of Conventional Medicine and subsequently, they will be inducted on regular posts.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) and Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Pakistan have signed a memorandum of understanding for the purpose.
As per agreement, medical camps, national and international conferences will be organized throughout the country for the recognition of Eastern Medicine by holding joint activities.
Research facilities of both the institutions will be shared and joint research projects will be carried out for the development of the profession. the MoU added.
Islamia University of Bahawalpur Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Athar Mahboob appreciated the efforts of Prof Dr Naveed Akhtar and Dr Hafiz Muhammad Asif on the occasion.
