PESHAWAR:The Industrialists Association Peshawar (IAP) and Police high ups have agreed to devise a comprehensive security plan to ensure safety of investors and manufacturers as well as further improvement in maintaining law and order in the Industrial Estate Hayatabad Peshawar.
The agreement was reached during a meeting between IAP President Malik Imran Ishaq and Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Moazzam Jah Ansari in his office on Thursday.
IAP delegation was consisted on its Senior Vice President Ayub Khan Zakori, Vice President Ghulam Mohiuddin, former FPCCI president Ghazanfar Bilour, ex-president IAP Riaz Arshad, executive member Malik Niaz Ahmad, Haris Mufti, Director City Polytax, Secretary General IAP Wasiullah, Deputy Secretary Muqtasid Ahsan, former MNA Nasar Khan, president SCCI Sherbaz Bilour, and vice president Junaid Altaf.
On the occasion, Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) – operations and PSO to IGP were also present during the meeting.
Malik Imran Ishaq in his comprehensive multimedia presentation gave a number of proposals to further improve the law and order situation in Industrial Estate Hayatabad Peshawar. The IGP and other high police officials have fully agreed with recommendations of the IAP president.
The IAP chief lauded that the role of police in maintenance of law and order and peace building is exemplary, adding that the police jawans gave their lives to make Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and erstwhile federally Administered Tribal a cradle of peace.
Imran Ishaq said that sacrifices rendered by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police were unmatched and unparalleled, saying the industrialists gave great worth to these sacrifices of the police force.
Earlier, the IAP President taken up issues and demands pertaining to up-gradating police check post in Industrial Estate Hayatabad to full police station, representation of industrialists as member in Dispute Resolution Council, old decisions of DRC and Jirga, formation of a joint committee of IAP, SCCI and police officials, recent IED attack on industry, previous attacks, call for ransom, extortion, illegal occupation of flats in industrial estate, drug addicts, transit trade routes and their closure in light of superior judiciary verdict and other connected issues of the industrialists.
Malik Imran invited the IGP KP Moazzam Jah Ansari to visit Industrial Estate Hayatabad Peshawar.
IGP KP and other police high ups agreed with proposals of IAP President and assured to take every possible step to implement them with letter and spirit.
