Kashmiris rendering unparalleled sacrifices for freedom from India: Qumi

Islamabad

ISLAMABAD:Chief Patron of Jammu and Kashmir Pairwan-e-Wilayat, Sibte Shabbir Qumi has said that the Kashmiris are rendering unparalleled sacrifices in their struggle for securing freedom from Indian subjugation.

Sibte Shabbir Qumi addressing a meeting of party’s Executive Committee in Srinagar said that the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle till the presence of a single Indian soldier in the territory, reported.

He said that the Kashmiris had been constantly facing Indian oppression for the last over seventy four years and this repression had increased since August 5, 2019 when the Modi-led fascist Indian government repealed Kashmir’s special status and imposed military siege in IIOJK.

Sibte Shabbir Qumi urged the Muslim countries to play their role in resolving the long-pending Kashmir dispute and other issues related to the Ummah. He said if Muslims are united, it is not difficult to settle other issues of the Ummah.

He lamented the silence of the world community over Indian oppression, saying that the influential countries of the world do not play their role in resolving the Kashmir-like sensitive dispute.

He urged the champions of human rights to help settle the lingering Kashmir dispute according to the UN resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people so that durable peace could be established in the region.

All Executive Committee members of Pairwan-e-Wilayat participated in the meeting.
