KARACHI:Total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at dollars 24.644 billion, says State Bank of Pakistan.
SBP’s weekly statement here on Thursday said that on Aug. 06, the foreign reserves holding with State Bank amounted to $ 17,622.7 million.
Net foreign reserves with commercial banks were $7,021.3 million.
During the week ending Aug. 06, SBP made external debt repayments and payments for the import of Covid-19 vaccine totaling $ 245 million. After accounting for other official inflows, SBP’s reserves decreased by US$ 223 million to US$ 17,622.7 million.
