PESHAWAR: A delegation of under trainee officers (ASPs) of 48th Common Training Program of National Police Academy Wednesday visited Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy.
Director General of KP Judicial Academy Ziauddin Khattak, while briefing the delegation, said the academy started regular training programs and courses since 2012 for all stakeholders associated with the justice system, including district court judges, court staff and police personnel on modern lines with an aim to enhance public confidence in the justice system.
He said close coordination between police and courts were essential to ensure quick justice to people.
He said that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police under which various training programs have been conducted for police personnel and officers including for police investigation officers.
National Police Academy Course Commandant SSP Umar Ayaz appreciated the performance, role, and facilities being given at the academy.
He said this visit would further enhance coordination between police and judiciary.
