Muzaffargarh:Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Ghazi khan, Muhammad Feisal Rana, paid a visit to the city Police Station and Saddar Police Station in Muzaffargarh district,
on Tuesday.
On his arrival at police station, the RPO was presented a guard of honour. District Police Officer (DPO) Muzaffargarh, Hussan Iqbal was also accompanied by RPO during inspection of various departments.
The RPO Feisal Rana, on the occasion, said that police was passing through continuous reforms process to come up masses’ expectations and added that special focus was being made on moral training along with physical training of police officials and personnel.
He informed that various sessions of experts from different departments were conducted during their skill development process, as a commandant improvement of standard of police was his priority.
The RPO checked the barracks, cleanliness and other sections during his inspection. He checked the progress of under investigation cases and directed the police officials to send the cases to court concerned.
He ordered to speed up the arrests of proclaimed offenders and court absconders and ordered to take strict action against illegal weapon holders, Drug peddlers and gangs involved in criminal activities and send them to prisons.
He directed the police officials to adopt zero tolerance policy and change their attitude among the masses.
He said that old and orthodox kind of investigation and punishment was forbidden in new and modern police cultural adding that this was the age of modernization and civilization and the police was the only source of security and safety for the masses.
