SAPM urges Opposition to change modus operandi for betterment of system

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Communication, Dr Shahbaz Gill on Tuesday urged the Opposition parties to change negative behaviour for betterment of system.

Talking to a private television channel, he said the Opposition benches should desist from criticizing ruling party for establishing “Langar Khana” and construction of shelter houses for low income group. The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), government after taking the responsibility of this country had taken solid steps for welfare of the masses, he stated. He said in the past, all regimes had been working for personal interests. He added that previous governments could not pay attention to strengthen economy.

Dr Shahbaz Gill said that poor performance of the Pakistan Muslim League-N and Pakistan Peoples Party had left vacuum in every sector. Expressing joy over comprehensive policies of PTI government, the SAPM said the farmers are earning handsome money after selling their products directly to the market. He said the present government had provided soft loan facility to farmer community besides launching housing scheme for low income segment of society. He said, “We are spending all money on different projects for alleviating poverty.” Replying to a question about behaviour of Ali Nawaz Awan at lower house, he said the ruling party would treat the Opposition parties in the same manner as they had treated us in the past.
