SARGODHA:Police on Saturday arrested six shopkeepers on charge of illegal business of gas decanting in Factory Area and Urban Area police limits.
Police said that during ongoing drive against illegal decanting, the district administration, along with police, conducted raids at various shops and arrested six gas dealers red-handed over refilling of gas cylinders illegally.
The accused were identified as Awais Ahmed, Zulfiqar Ali, Muhammad Sajid, Tauqeer Ali, Abid Ali and Amjad.
Police recovered gas cylinders and other equipment into custody.
Cases have been registered against the accused.
