HYDERABAD: The SSP Hyderabad Sajid Amir Saddozai has underlined that maintaining law and order and providing security to the citizens is a collective responsibility of the district and the traffic police.
Speaking at a meeting, attended by the police and traffic police officials at the Police Headquarters here on Monday, the he asked both the sections of the police to work in concert.
“It’s a mutual onus on you to regulate traffic and take action against encroachment so that the citizens are not made to suffer the consequent problems, ” he said.
The SSP asked the DSPs and SHOs to expedite action against the organized crimes, street crimes and drug peddling.
He directed the officials to arrest the culprits who were involved in all the recent crimes.
Saddozai asked the DSPs to proactively supervise policing in their respective jurisdictions.
He said the police should ensure that the flaws did not occur in the investigation process which allow a criminal to secure acquittals.
He appreciated SHO Nisar Ahmed Shah and his team for crime combat actions and also announced a reward for the team.
SP Traffic Mukhtiar Ahmed Solangi, ASP Hussain Waris, DSPs, SHOs, DIB’s Inspector Akbar Loond and other officials attended the meeting.
