FAISALABAD:Two persons including a woman were killed while two others sustained injuries in different incidents near here Wednesday. According to Rescue-1122, Bushra Bibi (55) wife of Karam, resident of Chak No 46-RB jumped into the Rakh branch canal near Sikandarpur in Chak Jhumra area and drowned. According to family members, the woman was mentally disturbed. Rescue team fished out the body and handed it over to area police. In another incident, 13-year-old Abu Bakar son of Habib Ahmed, resident of Chaudhry Park was shot dead by an unidentified person near D-Type roundabout. Police shifted the body to the mortuary and collected forensic evidence. Separately, some bandits tried to intercept a vehicle when its driver accelerated the speed. Upon which, the outlaws opened fire on a carry van near Chak Hamanda, Syedwala. As a result, two passersby identified as Wakeel Hussain (16) and Amjad Ali suffered bullet injuries. They were rushed to THQ hospital.
