HYDERABAD:The body of a woman was found from the bank of Indus river under the bridge connecting Hyderabad with Kotri town of Jamshoro district here Friday.
According to Naseem Nagar police, the woman had been identified as Khalida Nizamani, a resident of Sehrish Nagar area.
The police said the deceased woman had reportedly separated from her husband recently and she was living with her daughter.
The police told that they had started an investigation to ascertain the cause of her death.
The body was shifted to Liaquat University Hospital for postmortem.
It was later handed over to Rashid Nizamani, brother, for the burial.
