SARGODHA:Irrigation department Sargodha on Monday launched a comprehensive crackdown against the water pilferers and claimed to have arrested 17 water thieves across the District.
According to a spokesperson ,the accused were identified as Ahmed Hayat, Nasir, Iqbal, Bilal, Sarwar, Nabeel, Ayub, Khizer, Kaleem, Saleem, Majid, Fahad,Usman and others were involved in stealing water from water canals.
