FAISALABAD:Two laborers were electrocuted while breaking concrete roof of a house in the area of Buchiana police station.
A police spokesman said here on Sunday that two labourers — 25-year-old Muhammad Idrees and 45-year-old Muhammad Afzaal — were busy in breaking linter of an old and redundant roof in a house near Data Chowk Buchiana when they received a fatal electric shock after touching 11-kV electricity wire accidentally which were passing near the building.
As a result, both fell unconscious and died before getting any medical treatment.
The police handed over the bodies to their relatives for burial after completing legal requirements, he added.
