SARGODHA:Regional Manager Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Sargodha Region Umar Hayat has said that 2,100 FIRs [first information reports] have been got registered against the gas thieves across the region so far.
Talking to reporter on Sunday, he said three FIRs were got registered under 462-C, which is related to tampering with auxiliary or distribution pipelines of gas.
He said that a massive crackdown on gas thieves was under way in the region. He said Rs 10 million fine was also imposed on domestic gas thieves collectively.
