FAISALABAD: Over 235,191 children under five year of age have been administered polio drops on the first day of the drive in the district.
Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Nayyer Sheikh, while presiding over a meeting of the district polio eradication committee here on Tuesday, said that children are our future and we would have to take effective measures to save them from diseases.
He urged parents to administer the drops to their children for their safety from the crippling disease.
The polio drive will end on October 8.
