Islamabad:The 41st National Competition for Hifz-o-Qirat organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, will begin on Wednesday, October 14, and conclude on October 15.
A total of 56 male and female participants from across the country will take part in the competition. The first two stages were held at the district and provincial levels.
Selected participants from all four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Islamabad will compete in ten categories covering Quran memorization and recitation for children and young people.
The competition aims to promote Quranic teachings and encourage the younger generation to memorize and recite the Holy Quran.
Participants who demonstrate outstanding performance will represent Pakistan in international competitions.
