Attock: The annual elections of the District Bar Association Attock for the session 2026-27 were concluded after a closely contested polling process. The positions of president and vice president were won by candidates of the Shaheed Malik Israr Advocate Group, while candidates from the opposing panel succeeded in other key offices.

For the office of president, Rab Nawaz Hayat Bilal Advocate (Shaheed Malik Israr Group) secured victory by obtaining 238 votes. His rivals, Saqib Shahzaib Advocate and Asif Mahmood Bhatti Advocate, secured 167 and 72 votes, respectively, finishing second and third.

For the position of vice president, Malik Shoaib Iqbal Advocate, also representing the Shaheed Malik Israr Group, emerged victorious by securing 299 votes, while his opponent, Ahmad Raza Khan Advocate, obtained 175 votes.

For the office of General Secretary, Muhammad Arif Khattak Advocate won with 252 votes, whereas Faheem Ejaz Malik Advocate received 222 votes.

Similarly, Sheikh Muhammad Tayyab Advocate secured victory in the contest for Joint Secretary by obtaining 278 votes, while Syed Sarmad Shafiq Shah Advocate stood second with 190 votes.

According to the Election Commission, a total of 32 votes were declared invalid.

Following the announcement of results, the newly elected President Rab Nawaz Hayat Bilal Advocate and Vice President Malik Shoaib Iqbal Advocate were congratulated by the legal fraternity. Supporters of the Shaheed Malik Israr Advocate Group celebrated the victory by dancing to drumbeats, distributing sweets, and expressing their joy.
