Dera Ismail Khan: Assistant Commissioner Dera Faseeh Ishaq Abbasi, on Friday visited the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital and inspected various wards, including the emergency ward of the hospital.
He also visited and inquired about the health of patients who injured in the bus truck collision on Bannu Road near Shorkot on Friday morning and also reviewed treatment facilities over there.
A collision between a bus and truck claimed 2 lives while 17 others were wounded. The injured persons were shifted to DHQ hospital. All passengers on the bus were pilgrims from Kohat, going to visit holy sites in Iran and Iraq via Balochistan.
The Assistant commissioner also interacted with patients and their attendants. He assessed the availability of medical facilities, the provision of medicines, and the presence of doctors and other staff in the various wards.
Hospital Director Dr. Farrukh Jameel who accompanied him during the visit, provided details on the current situation of the hospital.

No effort should be spared to treat patients, the Assistant Commissioner directed the authorities.
