Quetta: Assistant Commissioner (AC) Uthal, Mir Man on Wednesday inaugurated a week-long cleanliness campaign on special directives of Lasbela Division Commissioner Saira Atta and Deputy Commissioner Lasbela Humaira Baloch.
The drive began with the Municipal Committee Uthal staff commencing operations at the Tehsil Office.
Subsequently, the cleanliness campaign will extend to Uthal Bazaar, the National Highway, and various neighborhoods.
Assistant Commissioner Mir Man remarked that cleanliness is half of faith and also instructed the Municipal Committee staff to ensure there is no negligence in sanitation efforts, noting that the city’s beauty depends on an effective cleanliness system.
He emphasized the need for daily attention to the sewerage system and neighborhood sanitation, adding that he would personally visit the bazaar daily to monitor the situation, as a clean environment defines the city’s identity.
Chief Officer Haji Muhammad Khan Doda, Vice Chairman Waseem Khaskheli, Accounts Officer Abdullah Roonjha, Supervisor Muhammad Bakhsh, and In-charge Sajid Barah were also present on the occasion.
