Dera ismail khan Assistant Commissioner Paharpur Shahab Ahmad Khan on Thursday visited the Paharpur bus stand and reviewed transport arrangements and public facilities.
During the visit, he inspected fare lists and directed transport operators to display approved fare schedules prominently to prevent overcharging of passengers.
He also instructed traffic officials to ensure smooth traffic flow, maintain order around the bus stand and enforce traffic rules.
The Assistant Commissioner directed Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) officials to improve cleanliness and take immediate steps to ensure proper sanitation at the bus stand.
He stressed that negligence in ensuring passenger convenience, compliance with approved fares, traffic management and cleanliness would not be tolerated.
