MIRPUR (AJK):Assistant Commissioner Mirpur, accompanied by the Chief Officer of the Municipal Corporation, SHO City Police Station and Tehsildar Mirpur, inspected residential rooms in various commercial plazas in the Nangni area in Mirpur city to verify the registration status of individuals residing there, it was officially said.
During the inspection, the AC issued on the spot directives to initiate legal proceedings against individuals from outside the state found residing in the area without registration.
The action followed multiple complaints regarding individuals from outside the state selling dry fruits from pushcarts at various locations across the city.
The Assistant Commissioner also directed the SHO City Police Station to seize the pushcarts and ensure that they were not allowed to operate on the city’s main roads.
