Rawalpindi: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted three operations in different parts of the country following arrest of four drug suppliers and recovered 18.924 kilograms of drugs from their possession.

According to the ANF, 5,654 Xanax tablets weighing 784 grammes were recovered from a vehicle near a university in Attock.

Two drug suppliers were arrested during the operation. The arrested suspects allegedly confessed to sell drugs to students of educational institutions.

In another operation near a hospital on the GT Road in Rawalpindi, ANF officials recovered 140 grammes of ice from two motorcyclists and arrested them.

Meanwhile, 18 kilograms of hashish were recovered from a vehicle near a petrol pump in Nowshera district.

Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA), 1997.
