Mirpurkhas:Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mirpurkhas Adil Memon on Sunday took comprehensive action against encroachments across the district after assuming charge.
According to police, Sergeant Haider ordered the traffic police to take action against buses, vans and coasters violating traffic rules.
An anti-encroachment operation was carried out in the jurisdiction of Gharibabad and Mehran police stations to Khapro Naka Chowk, satellite Town Police Station, from Chandni Chowk to Jarwari Chowk.
Heavy fines were imposed on those passenger coaches, vans and coasters that violated the law by carrying too many passengers.
