Rawalpindi: Door-to-door vaccination teams across Rawalpindi district achieved a 92 percent progress benchmark under the campaign micro-plan, covering 675,625 households during the first three days of the four-day anti-polio drive, official statistics revealed on Thursday.
Presiding over a performance review, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Captain (Retd) Nadeem Nasir, along with relevant officials evaluated third-day field reports.
Operational metrics presented during the meeting showed that field teams reached 225,783 households on the third day alone. Out of 160,359 missed children identified across the initial three days, intensive catch-up units successfully vaccinated 95,692 children, leaving 64,667 pending.
Directing supervisors to intensify field oversight on the final day of the campaign, DC Nadeem Nasir ordered comprehensive coverage to trace and vaccinate every remaining missed child across the district.
