Abbottabad The administration of Ayub Teaching Hospital (ATH) has fixed specific timings for visits by medical representatives of pharmaceutical companies in light of a decision of the Peshawar High Court.
According to a circular issued by the hospital administration, medical representatives will be allowed to visit the hospital only on Thursdays from 1 00 pm to 4 00 pm.
The circular stated that medical representatives would not be permitted to enter the Out-Patient Department (OPD), wards, units, operation theaters or patients’ recovery areas.
It further said that entry of medical representatives into the hospital for any official activity would remain prohibited on days and at times other than the specified schedule.
The administration said the restrictions had been imposed in accordance with the directions of the Peshawar High Court.
