KARACHI:The Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Karachi S.M. Mahbubul Alam called on Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Khan Durrani on Thursday.
Various matters of mutual interest came under discussion in the meeting while Speaker Sindh Assembly urged on better bilateral relations and strengthening diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The Bangladeshi envoy was informed about historical background and importance of the Sindh Assembly.
Speaker Sindh Assembly presented traditional gift of Sindhi cap and Ajrak and memento of Sindh Assembly to the guests.
Secretary Sindh Assembly GM Umar Farooq and First Secretary DHC Bangladesh Mohammad Atiqur Rahman were also present at the occasion.
