QUETTA:Commissioner Quetta Division Sohailur Rahman Baloch on Wednesday said that integrated measures were being taken under the comprehensive strategy for the construction and development of Quetta city and enhancing its beauty.
He expressed these views while inspecting the construction and renovation of parking venues, roads, parks and footpaths of Quetta railway station.
Deputy Commissioner Quetta Shahak Baloch accompanied the Commissioner during the visit.
He said that all the resources were being utilized as per the current need for the beautification and development of the city saying that in this regard, greenbelt, beautiful plants and different types of trees would be planted in the railway station and near it.
While electricity poles will be installed and steps will also be taken for footpaths so that the citizens of Quetta feel a better environment, he said, adding that apart from this, the provision of facilities would make a good impression on the visitors from outside.
He said that soon the process of planting greenhouses to be started at different places of the city, increasing the scope of which, the greenhouses and beauty would be restored at different places in a phased manner.
