Mirpurkhas: A District Steering Committee has been formed on Saturday to ensure the success of the national vaccination campaign against human papillomavirus (HPV) and cervical cancer. According to District Health Officer Mirpurkhas, Dr. Amjad Azam, the committee will oversee the implementation of the campaign, which is scheduled to take place from September 15 to 30, 2025.
The Committee is chaired by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rashid Masood Khan, with Dr. Amjad Azam as co-chairperson. Members include officers from various departments, such as health, education, local government, information, social welfare, Oqaf and religious leaders.
