Astore: The Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan visited District Astore, where an important meeting was held at Rama under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Astore Neelam Ali. The meeting reviewed in detail the overall administrative situation, public issues, ongoing development activities and other important matters in the district.
The meeting was attended by SSP Astore, Assistant Commissioner Astore Muhammad Shoaib, Assistant Commissioner Shounter Tauseeq Ahmed, Executive Engineer Works Department Astore, officers of the Forest Department and other concerned district officials.
On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Astore Neelam Ali gave a detailed briefing to the Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan on key administrative matters, law and order situation, ongoing development projects, issues faced by the public and various initiatives being undertaken at the district level.
The meeting also discussed in detail public needs, provision of basic facilities, improvement of infrastructure, roads and other development projects, as well as various administrative matters in different areas of the district.
The Chief Secretary reviewed the measures being taken by the district administration to resolve public issues and improve administrative affairs and directed the concerned officers to ensure effective progress on ongoing projects and initiatives in the public interest.
The meeting stressed the need for all concerned departments to work through close coordination and a coordinated strategy to ensure provision of basic facilities to the people of Astore, timely completion of development projects and further improvement in administrative affairs so that maximum relief could be provided to the public.
