Quetta:Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Saturday expressed satisfaction over a successful operation conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Barkhan against terrorists.
In a statement, the chief minister termed the CTD action against terrorists associated with Fitna-ul-Hindustan as commendable and said the operation reflected the determination of law enforcement agencies to eliminate terrorism from the province.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said the performance of the CTD and security forces in the fight against terrorism was praiseworthy, adding that their professional capabilities and continued efforts were playing a vital role in maintaining peace and stability in Balochistan.
He said the resolve of security forces, police and the CTD to eradicate terrorism remained unwavering and that all available resources were being utilised to ensure lasting peace and law and order across the province.
The chief minister paid tribute to the sacrifices rendered by security forces and police personnel in the war against terrorism, stating that their contributions were being held in high esteem by the nation.
Sarfraz Bugti further vowed that operations against terrorists would continue and that the nefarious designs of anti-state elements would be thwarted through sustained and coordinated action by security institutions.
He reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to restoring complete peace in Balochistan and said no effort would be spared to eliminate the menace of terrorism and safeguard the lives and property of citizens.
