QUETTA: Adviser to Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Zialango on Monday expressed satisfaction over the holding of local government (LG) elections in 32 districts of the province, especially in Mangchar and Kalat district.
He said that people in remote areas of the province and especially in hot areas came out of their homes and used their right to vote to elect their representatives which is the beauty of democracy.
According to the press release, he said that after ten years of hard work and diligence, Balochistan’s Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and his team succeeded to hold free, fair and transparent local body elections across the province.
Mr, Ziaullah Langu said that after the unfortunate incidents occurred in some areas of the province which were copped by the administrations deserved credit for the skillful handling of the situation.
He said that throughout this phase, the District Administration Levies, FC and Pak Army soldiers have made efforts for holding peaceful elections saying that we paid tribute them in this regard.
He also congratulated all the successful candidates of the province and especially of Kalat and Manguchar and said that newly elected members would fulfill their responsibility to solve the problems being faced by the people at the level of Union Council.
