Faisalabad:Commissioner Silwat Saeed on Friday congratulated Arshad Nadeem on winning gold medal in the Olympic games and said that his success had made every Pakistani proud.
In her felicitation message here, she said that Arshad’s great success would also instill the spirit of hard working among the youth.
She said that sports played an important role in building the personality of the youth. Arshad Nadeem’s success was the result of his belief that hard work never went in vain, she added.
The commissioner said that the divisional administration would continue to encourage the youth for the promotion of traditional sports.
Meanwhile, Faisalabad Development Authority cut a cake to celebrate victory of Arshad Nadeem in the Paris Olympics who set a new world record in Javelin throw. FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, Additional DG Dilawar Khan, officers and staff were present on the occasion.
The DG congratulated the parents of the Arshad Nadeem as well as the Pakistani nation on this brilliant
success.
He also announced honorary membership of the FDA city sports complex for the Olympian.
