PESHAWAR: Commissioner Mardan Division, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, inaugurated the Mardan City Car Parking project on Monday. The project is located on a vast area of land at the intersection of Mall Road and Bank Road.
It is worth noting that this government land, worth billions of rupees, had been lying vacant for a long time in the heart of the city and was eyed by land mafia and encroachment groups.
However, due to the personal attention of Commissioner Mardan, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, the land was secured, filled, and made functional.
Commissioner Mardan saud that with the establishment of the car parking project, the traffic issues on Bank Road will be resolved, allowing citizens to park their vehicles and shop with ease.
He directed the relevant authorities to ensure that the city car parking project is expanded, along with the company garden parking on Bank Road.
He also instructed the administration and traffic police to discourage vehicles from parking on the road to prevent traffic congestion.

ppreciated the efforts of the district administration, WASA, and TMA in establishing the city car parking project. Commissioner Mardan, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, also planted a tree in the parking area.
Deputy Commissioner Mardan, Muhammad Fayaz Khan Sherpao, Regional Municipal Officer, and Additional Assistant Commissioner Headquarters, Junaid Khalid, were also present at the occasion.
