Bahawalpur: Under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for a ‘Beautiful Punjab,’ Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia visited various areas of the city and inspected ongoing development and beautification work at the Triangular Park located opposite Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH). Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia directed the relevant authorities to beautify and upgrade the Triangular Park at the earliest. He said that, owing to its prominent location in the central part of the city, the park would be developed and beautified along modern lines, with special attention to its renovation and overall appearance.
The Commissioner directed the authorities to undertake all necessary measures to improve the park, install new electric poles and paint the existing protective grills. He further instructed the concerned officers to complete all development and beautification works within the stipulated timeframe and transform the park into a clean, attractive and aesthetically pleasing public space for citizens. Assistant Commissioner Bahawalpur City Iqra Mubeen, Deputy Director Technical Waqas Muhammad Din and officers of other relevant departments were also present during the visit.
