Commissioner orders prompt resolution of public grievances

Bahawalpur: Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia listened to problems and complaints of citizens who visited his office under the open-door policy and directed relevant officers to resolve them promptly. The commissioner directed the concerned officials to address all complaints on a priority basis and ensure timely action. He said the administration was taking every possible measure to provide relief to the people and resolve their problems. Irfan Ali Kathia said the initiative was in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, adding that no delay in resolving public issues would be tolerated. He said the open-door policy was helping address citizens’ problems effectively and transparently. He directed the relevant officers to take practical steps for the early resolution of complaints and ensure that citizens received appropriate relief.
