Muzaffargarh: Civil Defence launched a crackdown against illegal LPG decanting in Muzaffargarh on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Usman Tahir Jappa, arresting a suspect and registering a case against him.
According to Civil Defence officials, Civil Defence Officer Arshad Hamid Sindhu led the operation in the jurisdiction of Saddar Muzaffargarh Police Station to prevent the illegal transfer of LPG to public and passenger vehicles.
During the action, the team arrested a suspect allegedly involved in illegal LPG decanting and seized a decanting machine. The confiscated equipment was handed over to police for further legal action.
The Civil Defence Officer said that action against those involved in illegal LPG business would continue.
