LAHORE:Commissioner Lahore Nauman Yousaf on Wednesday visited Garhi Shahu and adjoining city areas to review the performance of anti-dengue field teams and inspect healthcare facilities at the Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic in Garhi Shahu.
During the visit to the urban dispensary, the commissioner reviewed cleanliness, medical facilities and the provision of free medicines to patients. He also inspected dengue larvae surveillance activities being carried out by field teams in the surrounding areas.
Commissioner Nauman Yousaf said November was a critical month for dengue prevention and that no negligence in surveillance activities would be tolerated. He added anti-dengue teams were visiting every household and urged citizens to fulfil their responsibility by cooperating with the teams and following government guidelines and preventive measures against dengue.
