Sargodha: A review meeting chaired by Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali was held to assess the progress of WASA’s PDP project, ongoing development schemes and operational activities, particularly the installation and repair of manhole covers.
The meeting reviewed the progress of development schemes, improvement of the drainage system, and measures to address sewage-related issues faced by citizens.
The Commissioner directed WASA officials to complete development projects within the stipulated timeframe while ensuring quality standards. He ordered the identification of all open, broken, and damaged manholes in the city and directed that quality covers be installed and repairs carried out immediately to ensure public safety.
He stressed that effective drainage, improved operational services, and the provision of civic amenities were among the administration’s priorities. He directed concerned officers to remain in the field, promptly identify public issues and ensure their timely resolution.
The Commissioner also ordered regular monitoring of WASA’s development and operational activities, including the PDP project, to ensure completion according to set targets.
