Dera ismail khan: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority Dera Ismail Khan teams on Friday conducted inspections of various food businesses at Kakar Adda and imposed fines over the prohibited and expired food items.
During the operation, the team inspected food outlets and checked the quality and expiry status of food products.
Prohibited and expired items were recovered from some businesses, following which fines were imposed on the violators.
The authorities said that inspection and enforcement activities would continue to ensure the provision of safe and quality food to consumers and to prevent the sale of substandard and expired food items.
