DG KHAN: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Captain (R) Sajjad Hassan Khan and Commissioner Dr. Nasir Mehmood on Saturday inspected different areas in hill torrents to monitor the flood situation.
According to official sources, they visited flood relief camps to ensure the safe relocation of flood victims to secure areas.
They also reviewed security and other arrangements at the flood camp established at Government Primary School Loharwala. Similarly, they inspected the accessibility of flood relief camps for victims, the facilities provided, the availability of medicines at medical camps, and the clearance of routes. Orders were issued to ensure foolproof security for citizens in the relief camps and the provision of all necessary facilities.
Commissioner Dr Nasir Mehmood stressed the priority to transfer people to relief camps. He assured continued assistance for the safe return of the victims to their homes and added that they were committed to maintain adequate facilities at the relief camps.

R) Sajjad Hassan Khan stated that police personnel were actively engaged in relocating citizens to safe areas in the affected regions.
He reiterated that Punjab Government stood by the flood victims and urged them not to feel alone. Ensuring the safety of lives and property in the flood-affected areas is a top priority of the administration, he concluded.
