FAISALABAD: The FIA Faisalabad has arrested a travel agent on the charge of receiving money from some people on the pretext of employment abroad.
A spokesman said here on Saturday that Zeeshan received money in millions of rupees from various people for sending them to Poland, Romania, Russia, Dubai and other European countries for employment. Later, he neither sent them abroad nor returned their money.
Therefore, after receiving complaints, the FIA team conducted a successful raid and arrested the accused along with a large number of copies of work permits, fake guarantee letters, bank receipts, laptops and mobile phones. The accused was sent behind bars while further investigation was under progress, he added.
