District

Astore: The Assistant Director Fisheries met with the Assistant Commissioner, Astore, to discuss matters relating to the conservation of trout fish, prevention of illegal fishing and sustainable utilization of fisheries resources in Astore district.

During the meeting, a proposal to introduce a community-based conservation model for protecting natural trout fish stocks in the rivers, streams and other water bodies of Astore was discussed.
