RAWALPINDI:Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi, Taimoor Khan, has issued orders to all circle and sector in-charges to take strict and indiscriminate action against those obstructing the flow of traffic outside hospitals.
He directed all circle and sector in-charges in their area to visit private hospitals and meet with the hospital administration regarding parking arrangements, adding that forklifts and additional personnel should be appointed to remove carts, rickshaw stands, etc. to ensure smooth flow of traffic, said a press release issued here on Monday.
Khan said that circle in-charges should make effective arrangements to maintain traffic flow and the movement of emergency vehicles by improving traffic arrangements outside all hospitals, including District Hospital (DHQ), Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH), and Holy Family Hospital (HFH).
He further said that wrong parking and illegal parking stands outside the hospitals should be removed at once.
