Lahore: A ceremony was held here to honour the children of traffic wardens who secured outstanding positions and high marks in the matriculation examinations.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Syed Abdul Rahim Sherazi distributed cash prizes and gifts among the high-achieving students and appreciated their academic performance.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the academic achievements of the traffic wardens’ children were a matter of pride for their parents as well as the entire traffic police department. He encouraged the students to continue working hard in their studies.
The CTO also announced financial assistance for children of traffic wardens pursuing higher education and directed the Welfare In-charge to provide them all possible support.
Children of SP Zafar Naqvi, DSP Muhammad Ashfaq, DSP Ahsan Saleem, and DSP Fayyaz Bhatti were among those honoured for their outstanding performance in the matriculation examinations.
