MUZAFFARGARH: A man was allegedly deprived of Rs 2.1 million by two armed men in limits of Jatoi Police Station.
According to police, a citizen namely Ghulam Abbas, resident of Pul Sohni Canal, along with his business partner Hazoor Bukhsh was heading to his destination after withdrawing Rs 2.1 million from a private bank.
“When they both reached near Adda Sohni Canal, they were intercepted by two armed motorcyclists, who made them hostage at gunpoint and snatched the amount,” the police informed.
However, the police said, the dacoits managed to flee the spot and that it was conducting search operations to locate the whereabouts of the alleged culprits.
