Peshawar: Deputy Commissioner Sanaullah Khan has imposed a 30-day ban under Section 144 on sale and purchase of toy pistols, toy horns, and fireworks, as well as one-wheeling and aerial firing across district ahead of August 14 Independence Day celebrations.
According to a official notification issued on Saturday, strict legal action under Section 188 of Pakistan Penal Code will be taken against violators.
Police and municipal bodies have been directed to strictly enforce the order.
