Dera Ismail Khan: Deputy Commissioner (DC) DIKhan Sara Rahman paid a surprise visit to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital and Women’s hospital to review facilities being provided to the patients.
During her visit, various departments were inspected, including the trauma centre /emergency ward, male and female wards and various wards of the Women’s hospital.
Assistant Commissioner Mohammad Faseeh Ishaq Abbasi and other officials were also accompanied.
The DC also checked the attendance register of the doctors and paramedical staff. She strictly instructed that all the employees should ensure their attendance at their place of posting and perform their duties diligently.
No compromise would be made on the attendance of the staff, she added.
She visited the patients and inquired about the medical treatment facilities available at the hospital. She also inquired about the behaviour of the doctors from the relatives of the patients in the hospital.
No effort should be spared to treat patients, the DC
directed the authorities.
She said that all hospital departments should be made functional and clean.
The DC said that the visits to the hospitals would continue. She said cleanliness should be taken care of in the hospital and the authorities should ensure the supply of medicines.
She also assured to address the complaints of the patients.
