Sargodha:Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry has directed law enforcement agencies to intensify action against illegal petrol pumps, smuggling, illegal LPG decanting, electricity theft, non-customs-paid vehicles and illegal weapons.
Chairing a District Coordination Committee meeting, attended by DPO Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem and other officials, he reviewed a 17-point agenda covering law and order, traffic management, encroachments, drug trafficking and public safety.
The meeting also reviewed anti-smog measures, air quality monitoring and the Green Punjab Campaign.
The deputy commissioner directed departments to ensure strict legal action, strengthen inter-agency coordination and promote public awareness to improve law and order and protect citizens.
