Havelian:Former federal minister Murtaza Javed Abbasi has praised the security forces for killing seven militants in an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan, saying the entire Pakistani nation stands firmly alongside the security forces in the fight against terrorism.
In a statement, Abbasi commended the professional expertise and timely action of the security forces, saying the operation had foiled the nefarious designs of terrorists and demonstrated their commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the country.
He said the destruction of terrorist hideouts reflected the determination of the security forces to eliminate terrorism and protect the country from security threats.
Abbasi paid tribute to the sacrifices and services of the security forces, adding that the nation stood shoulder to shoulder with them in the war against terrorism.
Criticizing the provincial government, he alleged that it was focused on organizing music and dance programmes instead of paying adequate attention to security threats and the activities of the country’s enemies.
