BAHAWALPUR:Practical measures are being taken to improve sports facilities and ensure the timely completion of development projects in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hasan Raza visited Dring Stadium Bahawalpur, and inspected the ongoing development work, including the construction of athletics tracks.
During the visit, the deputy commissioner directed the concerned authorities to complete all development projects within the stipulated timeframe. He emphasized that quality construction materials must be used and that no compromise on construction standards would be tolerated.
He instructed the officials to ensure that all work was carried out in accordance with approved standards and technical specifications to improve sports facilities for athletes and the general public. Syed Hasan Raza also inspected the road under construction at the rear of Dring Stadium and directed the concerned authorities to complete its carpeting work without delay. He further instructed the officials to install tuff tiles along the road shoulders, stating that the measure would enhance the road’s appearance and durability.
The deputy commissioner directed the relevant departments to expedite all development work at Dring
Stadium and on the adjoining road while maintaining quality at every stage of construction. He stressed that timely completion and adherence to construction standards were equally important to ensure the provision of improved facilities for citizens and sportspersons.
